We are in constant hunting mode to find the best Administrative Personnel in the Silicon Valley. As you know, there is a major shortage of good Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Administrative Assistants, Chiefs of Staff, Receptionists and other administrative professionals. Our clients range from (but are not limited to) Real Estate to many iterations of High Tech; from Venture Capital to Hedge Funds, to Investment Banking to Private Equity to Private Wealth Management, Digital Marketing, Consulting, Human Resource Consulting, and Biotech. 

This week's feature position: Cutting edge, Venture Capitalist located in the Peninsula is searching for a stellar Executive Administrative Assistant to provide direct administrative and executive support to the Senior Managing Director. Reporting directly to the Senior Managing Director, the Executive Administrative Assistant will provide executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Managing Director act as a liaison to the board of directors, other General Partners' EAs, leaders of their portfolio companies, and their numerous teams. Additionally, the Executive Administrative Assistant will organize and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects and company events. 

The Executive Administrative Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a closely-knit, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and sophisticated organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Executive Administrative Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all types of meetings; small, large, in-house, external, video conferencing, could include catering, setting up presentation materials and equipment.
  • Flawless execution of administrative activities, with high attention to detail, organization and process.
  • Strong teamwork ability and skills; must possess confidence to offer suggestions and improvements to process and work effectively with all personalities.
  • Project and relationship management; demonstrated ability and willingness to continuously acquire new competencies and accept new challenges for MD


Desired Skills: 

  • Bachelor's Degree a plus!
  • 5+ years of experience supporting a General Partner or C-level executive
  • Solid knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience in a financial/investment environment is a strong plus.
