Englewood Cliffs, NJ. SERVEONE Co., Ltd., ph. 206-2483 or e-mail seeks 1 Construction Management Team
Coordinator for temporary, full-time employment (40 hrs/wk, Mon-Fri 9:00 am - 5:00 pm) from
October 9, 2017, to August 30, 2019, to assist Construction Manager during the construction of LG Electronics' new 360,000-square-foot
corporate headquarters building on a 27-acre site in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Interpret & review
detailed Architectural Drawings and
Specifications. Coordinate labor resources, &
procurement & delivery of materials, plant & equipment. Consult with architects &
engineering (mechanical and electrical)
professionals. Ensure adherence to building
legislation & standards of performance, quality, cost & safety. Develop the assessment criteria including Defects Inspections, Equipment Audit, Health & Safety Inspection,
Energy & Environmental, Legal & Code Compliance, Asset Benchmarking, & Capital Expenditure. Carry out quality checks, brand audit, statement at completion & final report as well as handing over as-built data to the client, LG Electronics. Draft comprehensive weekly & monthly due diligence/progress report outlining the current physical condition of the project. Suggest Value Engineering (VE) items to reduce total construction amounts & satisfy the client's budget. Confirm commissioning test of lighting, Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning before hand-over as-built data & the project to the client. Job requires Bachelor's Degree (or Foreign Equivalent) in Architectural Engineering or closely related field & 3 years of experience as Construction Management Team Coordinator, Construction Project Manager, or closely related including experience with: Coordinating labor resources, & procurement & delivery of materials, plant and equipment; Ensuring adherence to building legislation & standards of performance, quality, cost & safety; Carrying out quality checks, brand audits & managing any risks & defects of projects from start to completion. Knowledge & skills requirements: Technical knowledge & understanding of Architectural Drawings & Specifications, Defects Inspections, Equipment Audit, Health & Safety Inspection, Energy & Environmental, Legal & Code Compliance, Asset Benchmarking, & Capital Expenditure. Worker will be paid no less than $63.95 per hour & no less than $95.93 per hour for overtime. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Worker will be paid on Friday (bi-weekly) by check. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. No other deductions will be made. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract
period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation & subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon
completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will
provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of
return transportation & subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not
return due to subsequent employment with
another employer or where the employer has
appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.07 p/day during travel to a maximum of $51.00 p/day with receipts. Worker responsible for daily transportation to & from worksite. Worker will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing & other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The
employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
