The Primary Care Director of Clinical Practice (DCP) will be responsible for clinical oversight of the Bronson Medical Group (BMG) Primary Care Clinical Practice Council (CPC).
The DCP forms a dyad with the respective Director(s) of Practice Operations.
DCP collaborates on budgets and capital requests specific for the Primary Care CPC and guides the development of physician tactics and engagement to achieve the value, business, and clinical quality goals and objectives as set by BMG Senior Leadership and the Physician Leadership Council (PLC).
DCP has responsibility over directing program planning and provider evaluations, development, mentoring, and recruitment.
DCP collaborates with Business Development for strategic planning to achieve program growth and appropriate expansion of clinical services.
Responsible for addressing behavioral and compliance concerns and will conduct annual provider evaluations and assist with provider goals. The DCP's time will be allocated 50% administrative and 50% clinically.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of ten years clinical practice experience in internal medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine/pediatrics, prior management/leadership or directorship roles in hospital and/or medical group practice.
Current active and unrestricted Michigan licensure as a Physician, valid and unrestricted Federal/State registration to prescribe, dispense and administer controlled substances, qualified as a "provider" under Medicare or Medicaid programs, doctoral degree in medicine (M.D. or D.O.), and appropriate board certification (ABMS) within DCP's specialty and sub-specialty fields (as appropriate).
