JOB DESCRIPTIONHR Manager - Camp Hill, PA*fill in for maternity leave - approx. 4 months*Mon - Fri; 8am - 4:30pmPay: $20/hr Benefits and Compensation:•Establish pay policies and process bi-weekly payroll• Administer performance management program and manage employee benefit programs• Conduct open enrollment and company safety, health, and wellness programs.• Analyze training needs to design employee development programs. Employee Relations• Exercise open door policy to encourage employees to discuss concerns/issues•Serve as link between management and employees by handling questions and interpreting policies to assist in resolving work-related problems.•Conduct investigations and make recommendations based on findings• Ensure every employee feels as though they have been treated fairly and honestly. A "let's see what I can do for your..." approach even when the answer is going to be "no."• Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of personnel policies and practices.•Represent organization at personnel related hearings and investigations.•Conducts exit interviews and identify reasons for employee terminations Employee Recruitment/Retention• Establish standard and innovative recruiting and placement practices and procedures•Identify staff vacancies, recruit, and select applicants• Plan and conduct new employee orientation• Maintain, process and compile statistical reports on all records of worker's compensation, EEO, ADA, FMLA, unemployment, attendance and other employee related matters. Policy/Procedure Development• Recommends changes to policy and create new corporate policies as needed• Advise and train managers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.•Other duties as assigned - special projects JOB REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Management - SPHR certification preferred• Minimum of three years HR management experience• Generalist background with broad knowledge of principles and procedures for employee recruitment, selection, compensation and benefits, organizational planning, employee relations, training and development, and human resources information systems.•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).•Ability to communicate effectively and with clarity in written and verbal form.•Work requires hand dexterity, stooping, bending, mobility and sitting - must be able to lift 25lbs• Ability to model effectively with various types of people at every level, including being an employee advocate, a counselor to management and a physician resource.
