Job Description

Western Theological Seminary (WTS), Holland, Michigan, is an
evangelical and ecumenical community of faith and learning in the
Reformed tradition that serves the church of Jesus Christ by
preparing Christians called by God to lead the church in
mission.
WTS is actively pursuing diversity (understood in terms of race,
ethnicity, gender, and ability) in its faculty and has established,
with the support of the Henry Luce Foundation, a Nouwen Fellow
program designed to encourage applications from ABD or established
scholars whose research focuses on some aspect of disability
studies.
Scholars with disabilities are especially encouraged
to apply.
Two (2) full-time positions with a one-half
teaching load will be assigned to provide time to complete the
Ph.D. dissertation or conduct research.
Established scholars
may be considered for a semester or sabbatical appointment.

One important role of the Nouwen Fellow is working with faculty on
the committee for our
Graduate Certificate in Disability and Ministry.
