PROJECT DEVELOPMENT: Search web sites for new projects Newspapers Developer, Owner, Engineer contacts PRE BID: Order and procure plans, (Co-ordinate with Senior Est and Contract Administrator) Download plans and Specs Develop Bid Folder Maintain Status of plans, specs and addendums Read and Understand Project Plans and Specifications including all Proposal requirements Assist in advertising Give contract documents to Contract Administrator for bonds and insurance Attend Pre Bid Meetings as required Visit site to determine existing conditions and constraints Solicit Sub Contractors and vendor quotes to ensure coverage ESTIMATING: Visit site to determine existing conditions and constraints Schedule potholing if required Prepare take-off as required and or review take-offs to ensure accuracy Solicit input for estimating productions Analyze project and build estimate that affect labor, material, equipment, subcontractors, and suppliers.
